GameChanger Girls Design Day in Wellington, NZ

GameChanger Girls Esports is partnering with Wellington Central Library and TuhuraTECH to host this free girls esports game design day in Wellington, New Zealand (Saturday May 9th)


Schools should gather a team of 3-5 girls (aged between 10 and 15) to design a fab esports game.  On the day student teams will arrive with their game design ideas ready to work (BYOD) in a design sprint to prototype their games. Teams will be supported by peers, educators, and mentors in using generative AI in conjunction with Minecraft Education or Godot to realise their designs.


The Brief: Create a game that girls about the globe will want to play. A game for girls by girls!


Registration Closes: May 2nd

Game Design Day: May 9th 9.30 to4.30pm

Venue: Wellington Central Library
